K-12 teachers throughout the community and state have moved to various forms of online instruction, and the Cybersecurity and Networking Division of the National Center for Supercomputing Applications wants to make sure they are protected from cyber threats.
They are hosting office hours on April 22nd from 3 to 5 p.m. It will begin with a slide presentation, then there will be an opportunity to ask questions. Topics will include protecting yourself from spearfishing, scams, and malware as well as password hygiene.
You can register for the Zoom event here. A recording will be made available later for those who aren’t able to attend. If you have questions, you can email help+security@ncsa.illinois.edu.
