MTD released a statement saying that today will be the last day that there will be a bus to Willard Airport. No word yet on why the AirBus service is being stopped.
From the release:
Service to Willard Airport via the Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District’s (MTD) 27/270 Air Bus route will no longer be available after August 31, 2015. The final trip will depart the airport at 9:30 pm this evening.
MTD appreciates the many years of support that have been provided by the University of Illinois for MTD’s service to Willard Airport.
