Indie feature film Food is coming to town this summer and looking for locations, cast members and extras. Food, directed by Daryl Wein, and starring CBS’ Friends With Better Lives actress Zoe Lister-Jones, follows a young Midwestern mother who goes on a journey to uncover the cause of her son’s mysterious illness. Interwoven are the stories of a powerful CEO struggling with his son’s disorder, an organic farmer fighting to save his farm, and two scientists on the brink of a major discovery in an “Erin Brockovich meets Traffic,” dramatic thriller. Food is scheduled to begin shooting in the Champaign-Urbana area at the end of May and continue through the end of June.
