Champaign-Urbana ex pats Mother Nature still find themselves heading back to their home turf every so often — all this week you can check out a variety of shows and programs they are involved in. This Friday, their third annual GR8 Vibes Only Youth Festival is happening at Scott Park in Champaign from 5-8 p.m. The primary goal of this year’s GVO is “to expose Champaign youth to black creatives who design their lifestyles through Hip-Hop & Hustle.”

There will be (3) segments: Welcome, Panel Discussion, & Open Mic. Our theme for this years panel is Entrepreneurship, Mental Health & Hip-Hop and will feature commentary from several local artists and business owners. Being that we all share these intersections, we thought you would contribute a Gr8 amount to this conversation and space. We hope that this event will leave us all with a better understanding of our young community’s wants and needs and where we as entrepreneurs, parents, and educators can help create those changes.
