Molly Delany has been named the new Executive Director of the CU Schools Foundation. Ms. Delany has worked in the education field in several capacities.
For the past ten years, [Molly Delany] worked as WILL’s Director of Educational Outreach. Prior to that she was a childcare center director, served in various capacities for Head Start and worked as a literacy educator. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois with a BS in Speech and Hearing Science and an EdM in Curriculum and Instruction.
Delaney shared, “I believe education and strong public schools are the backbone of our community, and I am honored to work with the foundation to build programs that support teachers and inspire learners.” — CU Schools Foundation website
The CU Schools Foundation will work under Ms. Delany’s leadership as it strives to develop and support programs to make all Champaign-Urbana public school students ready for college and career.
