Chicago DeLaSalle’s 6’8″ power forward Mike Shaw announced this afternoon that he’ll play college ball at Illinois.
Shaw chose the Illini over West Virginia, DePaul and Marquette.
That makes four 4-star recruits in the Class of 2011. All are from Chicago, three from Vatican-oriented schools:

Alabama’s Devin Langford will visit the campus this weekend. If he commits to Illinois, the Class of 2011 would yield its own starting line-up.
