Retired Chief Executive of Historic Royal Palaces (HRP), Michael Day will be coming to U of I next week to give three talks on cultural leadership and historic site management and interpretation. These talks are open to the public.
The Historic Royal Palaces is the conservation and education charity that oversees The Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, Kensington Palace, Kew Palace, Banqueting House Whitehall, and Hillsborough Castle in Northern Ireland.
Michael Day has worked in cultural heritage management since 1974. He became Chief Executive of Historic Royal Palaces in 2003, retiring in 2017.
The talks will take place over various days and are as follows:
