Monet and the Waterlily Friends is a picture book that introduces readers to the colorful world of art.
After teaching preschool art for three years, I was surprised to find the lack of picture books about artists. They are out there, but I felt that they were either too complicated or too academic.
I decided to design a book that would be closer to an art class experience.
