Legendary basketball coach Lou Henson died this weekend

Lou Henson, coach of the Flyin’ Illini and the coach with the most wins in Illinois basketball history, passed away on Saturday. He was 88, and had not been well in recent years. 

He was inducted into the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame in 2015, and remained a beloved figure in C-U well after his coaching tenure ended. The court at State Farm Center bears his name.
