The University Library is hosting an online event on Thursday, January 28th from 12 to 1 p.m. that will cover the basics of preserving books, papers, and photographs. The program will be presented by Jennifer Hain Teper, Velde Professor and Head of Preservation Services. Topics to be covered:
- General storage tips
- Problems to look for
- Examples of usual deterioration
- Different types of possible treatments – both novice and professional
There will also be time for participants to ask questions. Registration is required.
