As temperatures start to wind down, generally, so do outdoor activities in C-U, but fear not: we still have a full month left of the Land Connection’s Tuesday Farmers’ Market in Downtown Champaign.
The revised hours will see the market kick off at 3:30 PM, and wrap up at 6:30, and will culminate in a Halloween celebration on October 25th to close the market for the year, and will feature costumes, contests and a ton of activities for kids.
In addition to all this, those who use their SNAP benefits at the Land Connection will also be able to bonus even more than usual throughout October at the market, due to a grant from Link Up Illinois and Experimental Station.
Make sure to make it out to the parking lot at Neil & Main in Downtown Champaign to take advantage of what little warm weather we have left and get a little fresh produce, too.
