Remember Downtown before Jupiter’s opened? I sure do, and it wasn’t nearly as fun as it is now. Was it Jupiter’s alone that helped spur the rehab of Downtown? Certainly not alone, but along with Radio Maria, Gypsy (RIP — no pun intended), and Boltini in 2000, it was a great big part of it.
So, tonight, it’s worth noting that they are 16 damned years old. 16! That’s when most kids start driving, if they’ve been good people and their parents agree. It’s also when most people start having the most fun.
