This event was originally set for this Friday, and meant to be an opportunity to enjoy the spring weather and cherry blossoms. So, yeah, that’s not happening.
In fact if you purchased a ticket for a happy hour this Friday, contact Japan House so they can refund it.
You should attend the rescheduled event on April 20th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Space is limited, and reservations are required. Fingers crossed for beautiful spring weather and blooming trees. Here are the details:
After work on Friday, April 20th, celebrate the arrival of spring at Japan House with a Happy Hour!
Sake expert Jonathon Edwards will be here for the 3rd sake tasting in a series, educating us on the wonderful attributes of this misunderstood traditional Japanese libation.
Starting at 5:30pm, guests will be led through 3 sake tastings, as well as being given bento, a Japanese-food inspired snack box, to enjoy outside in the gardens surrounding Japan House. The garden should be in full bloom, so guests are encouraged to bring picnic blankets or chairs to relax on.
DJ Evan Ramos will provide soothing house music to enhance the evening while guests sip sake, nibble on treats and visit with family, friends and co-workers.
Rain or shine! If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the event will be held inside Japan House.
