If you’ve ever wanted to experience a traditional Japanese tea ceremony, learn from a Japanese chef, or experience a Japan House garden tour, you’re in luck. On April 22nd, Japan House will be hosting their annual Spring Open House, which will feature all the above (and more) for free (or for $6 if you choose to participate in the tea ceremony). No reservation is required.
This is a fantastic way to experience one of Champaign-Urbana’s cultural gems, and the fact that it’s so affordable makes it all the more enticing.
