The Iron Post will be hosting their inaugural Folk & Roots Weekend on February 10th and 11th. The Fest will feature five bands of the folk music variety, including local Americana weirdos Bones Jugs, who are regulars at the Post. The show also includes bands from Nashville, Kansas City, and more.

Friday, February 10th and Saturday, February 11th, The Iron Post in Urbana, IL will host the inaugural Folk & Roots Winter Weekend!
Friday night will feature Urbana local and Americana oddballs Bones Jugs, and, returning from Nashville, TN, Woody Pines, and their oh-so-tasty brand of down home folk and swing.
Saturday night will be a trio of bands. Kicking off the evening will be The Matchsellers from Kansas City, Kansas, then Urbana locals Hobnob String Band, followed by one of the best bluegrass bands around, Chicago’s own, Henhouse Prowlers.
This is a weekend of music you do not want to miss!
