Since their season began in mid-February, University of Illinois Baseball had a bumpy start with eight wins and 11 losses in non-conference play. Though their record is a losing one, there were games that proved Illinois to be formidable, including a big 6-2 win over the nationally ranked #25 West Virginia team.
When conference play started this past week, Illinois took two out of three games from Michigan State behind their high powered offense, starting their conference season strong with a 2-1 recond and improving their overall record to 10-12. Illinois will be looking to take that momentum into their next conference series against Purdue at Illinois Field, April 1-3.
Dates and tickets for all future games this season can be found here, including home games against Nebraska, Northwestern, and Maryland.
