On August 15th, 39 scholars, teachers, and artists will present eight-minute essays via Zoom, all addressing the question of “What happens at the intersection of conceptual art and teaching?”
Presenters, hailing from 14 US states and six international locations, include university, community, high school, middle school, and elementary school teachers, as well as museum educators, and artists.
The six-hour online event will be osted by Illinois Art Education faculty member Jorge Lucero and include Art + Design faculty member Guen Montgomery, along with graduate students Paulina Camacho Valencia, Catalina Hernandez-Cabal, Allison Rowe, and Kaleb Ostraff.
