Per reporting in the News-Gazette today, Sam Horsch and Matthew Ertel plan to open a farm-to-table German restaurant in Gibson City, in the space previously occupied by the beloved Bayern Stube.
The restaurant will be called Horsch Radish. Get it?? Brillant.
Horsch will be the face of the restaurant, and plans to include German food and pastries, plus soups, salads, and sandwiches. Joshua Thomas has been named the executive chef.
Look for a soft opening late this summer. We’ll keep you posted on any updates in the meantime.
