The Homer Soda Fest is taking place this Saturday in nearby Homer, Illinois, which is easily one of the most unique fixtures of a Champaign-Urbana summer. With the festival comes a ton of vendors and live music, taking place all day long.

Largest Soda Fest, just around the corner
The Homer Soda Fest is just around the corner! On Saturday, June 3rd , the 5th annual Homer Soda Fest will be taking over the streets of downtown Homer, IL.. With over 250 bottles of soda to try, action packed games, tasty food and artisanal craft vendors, this a festival for the whole family to enjoy. VIP tickets are available to purchase online. These tickets give each VIP member access to unlimited tastings, a limited edition glass tasting cup with a custom design of this year’s fest and a tote bag.
Looking to buy tickets at the event? Single tasting tickets are 25 cents each and are located in booths throughout the festival. And if you are feeling like bringing your own flavor to the fest,it’s not too late to enter the barbecue or bake off contests as well.
All information on how to apply are online. If you’re interested in helping with this year’s festival, we have a few openings left for volunteers. Each volunteer receives a free t-shirt, free lunch, and VIP ticket – all shifts are just four hours long, sign up online if you’re interested! Doors open at 10am, we hope to see you there!
