Apparently, Headlights did a trial run for the Onion’s sometimes excellent, sometimes terrible Undercover series in which bands get to pick from a predetermined selection of songs to cover. Below the hiatusing Champaign band cover “Making Plans for Nigel” from XTC’s Drums and Wires album. Apparently, they did not have to play by rules — that’s the way they roll.
