Hi-BEER-nation…see what they did there? This is an event that you will not want to miss, especially if you fancy yourself a craft beer connoisseur. The folks at Pour Bros. will be loading up the pour wall with a wide ranges of speciality beers, with a focus on barrel-aged brews. Here’s the description from their Facebook event:
Join us for our barrel aged spectacle we call HIBEERNATION! On Saturday, December 8th we are turning the pour wall into a frenzy of beers aged in bourbon, wine, gin, and even tequila barrels! BA stouts, sours, easy drinkers…styles for all taste buds!
I am a fan of the stouts and porters especially, because they often involve coffee, chocolate, vanilla, and other such flavors. And the great thing about Pour Bros. is that you can try a whole bunch of these without just completely overloading yourself, because these tend to be quite heavy in nature. A couple of ounces here, a couple of ounces there, and you can try out a lot of new tastes.
