Gubernatorial candidate Daniel Biss returns to C-U for a town hall

State Senator Daniel Biss, who visited C-U in April for a meet and greet, is coming back for a town hall hosted by CU Indivisible. The event will take place in the Champaign City Council Chambers from 3-5 p.m on August 5th.

Join us on August 5th for a town hall featuring IL gubernatorial candidate Daniel Biss! This is the first in a series of events intended to help our community get to know a variety of candidates, ask questions, and get involved in the electoral process.

PARKING: Street parking is available in the areas around the City building. There’s also a pay lot nearby at the Illinois Terminal building. The Hill Street parking deck is also an option for those able to walk further to park. More info: http://champaignil.gov/public-works/parking/parking-maps/

ACCESSIBILITY: Hearing assist available. Council chambers are wheelchair & mobility impairment accessible but the building is a bit older. We recommend arriving early if you need a bit more time to find your seat, arrange companion seating, or request a hearing assist device. The building will not open until 2:30 pm at the earliest.

SEATING: This event will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis. The building will not open before 2:30 pm. If you’d like to ensure a seat, arriving a bit early is your best bet.

FORMAT: Town hall style question and answer session. Please feel free to prepare your question in advance.
