Pour Bros. Craft Taproom has been around for one year, and there are numerous ways to celebrate with them this week.
Personally, I have thoroughly enjoyed the addition of Pour Bros. to the downtown Champaign scene. As someone who likes to try a lot of different types of beer, but can’t deal with downing pints in order to accomplish that goal, this pour-your-own concept is great. I also appreciate that there is a section devoted to local brews.
If you haven’t ventured that way yet, there are lots of reasons to do so this week:
Today (Wednesday): It’s Customer Appreciation Day with 15% off the Pour Wall all day.
Thursday: Themed trivia night. This month’s theme is Marvel universe…not a theme that I would excel at, but I know there are lots of you out there that know all the Marvel things. My recommendation is to get there early (trivia starts at 7 p.m.) to grab a table. I’ve attended a couple of theme nights and they are quite popular.
Saturday: 1st Anniversary Celebration
- Try some rare beers as well as fan favorites from the Pour Wall (check out the beer list on the Facebook event).
- Take home some swag, either through giveaways or earning some prizes using your skills at Putt Putt and Putt Skee.
- Visit speciality beverage tents on the patio: Truly on draft + a fruit bar, B. Nektar Meadery, and Pour Bros. featured cocktails.
- Listen to live music from Evan Bartels.
