I live on the other side of the Earth from Common Ground…okay not really it’s just a bit of a hike for me to get there…so there is some advanced planning involved in my shopping trips there. I see that Owner Appreciation Days are coming back around next week, so this will definitely help in my trip planning. There are always a bunch of deals for owners, and you can take 10% off one of your visits during that time, so I make sure to take the opportunity to stock up on my Co-op usuals.
The best part, however, are all of the extra happenings during those days (think free samples). Here is what you can look forward to March 5-8:

8 a.m. to 12 p.m. CSA Fair at Lincoln Square
9-11a.m. Mad Goat Coffee local roasted coffee samples
10-1 p.m. Co-op Seed Swap
12-2 p.m. Free wine and beer samples
Sunday:
11 a.m.-1 p.m. Triple S Farms
