‘Tis the season for gardening, and if you’re in search of some veggies or flowers to plant this weekend, here are a few opportunities to get what you need while supporting organizations that are doing good things for our community.
Common Ground
May 4-11, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Shop for locally grown veggies, herbs, and flowers and support the Co-op’s Food for All program. All proceeds from the plant sale will benefit the program that makes shopping at the Co-op more accessible to all in the community.
Sola Gratia
May 7-16, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Find organically grown veggies, herbs, and perennial fruits, as well as flowers (potted, hanging baskets, perennials). Find the full list of available plants here. Sola Gratia donates 10% of the produce they grow to programs that are fighting hunger in area communities.
Grand Prairie Friends
