Want to know a bit more about the folks that are on the ballot for April’s municipal election? The League of Women Voters, NAACP, and the News-Gazette will host two evenings of forums at the Champaign City Building in city council chambers. From the LWV website:
We will take questions from the audience during the event, but we would like to have initial questions from members ready ahead of time. If you have questions that you would like to submit, please email the question, and the forum you are submitting it for to Minnie Pearson, minpearl3@aol.com, at least 24 hours before the forum. Remember all questions should be addressable by ALL the candidates for a particular position.
Then once you’re informed, you can go ahead and vote as early voting has begun. Here are the lineups:
