As part of its annual World AIDS Day rememberance, the Greater Community AIDS Project will have a free screening of the documentary We Were Here, which examines the early days of the HIV epidemic. The event runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Illinois Terminal.
We Were Here was recently shortlisted for an Oscar nomination, according to Jeremy Kinser of The Advocate.
