Female Power Project artist Leda Black is coming to town Thursday and you need to meet her

Leda Black is braving the polar vortex to bring her Female Power Project and her awesome self to the University of Illinois Women’s Resources Center Thursday evening and you need to be there.

Fans of the recent perSISTERS exhibit at the University of Illinois YMCA’s Murphy Gallery won’t want to miss the chance to hear Black discuss the process and the mission behind this important project. Black’s work, informed by her training as a graphic designer, and as a philosopher, and of course, by her feminism, seeks to amply women’s voices and explore how images of women’s power are constructed and reclaimed.
