Imagine feeling inside a cow’s stomach, sampling foods grown thousands of miles away, or learning to restore natural prairie environments. ExplorACES at the University of Illinois on March 14th and 15th will spotlight the wide-ranging opportunities in the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences.
ExplorACES, a two-day student-run event, acquaints prospective and admitted students with ACES faculty, academic offerings and myriad student organizations. More than 125 exhibits showcase academics, research and student development. Learn about study abroad programs, what students can do with their ACES degrees and how to apply for more than $2 million in scholarships.
More than 2,000 students will attend ExplorACES on Friday, March 14, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday, March 15th, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. A reception for admitted students at the Student Dining and Residential Programs Building will complete Saturday’s events.
Free parking and a free shuttle service to the ACES campus are provided at parking lot E-14, just west of the Assembly Hall.
