You heard, folks! Tickets for the 18th annual Ebertfest will go on sale Monday, Novemeber 2nd, at 10 a.m. This five-day film festival has drawn a crowd of film lovers to C-U since 1999 to screen great pieces overlooked in cinema.
Previously hosted by the late and great Roger Ebert, the torch has now been passed to his wife, Chaz, who selects the films as well as coordinates writers, producers, actors and directors for a Q&A session following each screening.
Festival passes are on sale for $150 and limited to the first 1,000 customers. Individual screenings are $15 a pop ($13 for seniors and students). Festival pass holders receive guaranteed admission into all screenings and general admission must arrive 30 minutes before screenings in order to secure a seat. Tickets may be purchased at the Ebertfest website starting Monday.
Two thumbs up for Ebertfest!
