Election day is April 6th, but you don’t need to wait until then to cast your vote in the the consolidated elections. This week nine additional early voting locations opened, so you have many opportunities to cast your vote in person. If you plan to vote by mail, you have until April 1st to request your ballot. Just be prepared to actually put it in the mail. There are no drop boxes this time around.
Here is the early voting information you need to know. All of these are univeral polling places, meaning you can vote there no matter where you live in Champaign County.
March 30 – April 5 – Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
April 3rd – 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
April 4th – 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
(Note: The Gathering Place is closed on Easter Sunday)
