Don’t forget to drop off items and support the @UniversityYUIUC “Dump & Run” event. From now through August 16th, bring accepted donations to the U of I Stock Pavilion at 1402 W. Pennsylvania Avenue, Urbana.
Dump & Run, A Community Recycling Event keeps at least 6 semi-trailers of reusable, quality goods out of Champaign-Urbana’s dumpsters and landfills each year. Your donations help also people furnish their homes and obtain sustainable transportation at low cost during The Dump & Run Sale in the fall. Proceeds from the Dump & Run Sale benefit the Y’s cause for strengthening community.
See below for specific donation dates at times. Then, join us for The BIG Sale on Saturday, August 23 and Sunday, August 24. From furniture to bikes to other reusable, quality household items, furnish your home at some of the lowest costs in town!
August Collection Days
August 13-15 from 8:30am to 12pm and 4pm to 6pm
August 15 from 9am to 12pm

8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. $2 admission
U of I International Students get in free.
Sunday, August 24:
11:00am – 2:00 p.m.: $3 bag sale and 1/2 price furniture
2:30-4:00 p.m.: “Free sale”
