The Urbana Business Association happily welcomes new marketing coordinator, Daley Schwengel, to its staff. Schwengel’s main responsibilities will be managing the association’s social media accounts, maintaining weekly and monthly newsletters and facilitating Urbana’s street pole banner program. Additional responsibilities include assistance in the execution of UBA events, including the Sweetcorn Festival, the Holiday Market and Uncork Urbana Wine Festival. She succeeds former marketing coordinator Michelle Lepka.
Schwengel hails from Shelbyville, Illinois and obtained a bachelors’ degree from Illinois State University in Communication Studies. Her past work experience includes working as an aide at Urbana’s Market at the Square and as a marketing and special events intern at the City of Urbana.
