Common Ground Food Co-op regularly offers all sorts of cooking classes. If you haven’t taken one, you should. Next month there is a class on pairing mead with cheese and it sounds very informative and delicious.
Maggie of Second Nature Honey will provide some of her homemade mead, plus you’lll sample a bunch of commercially made mead. You’ll also get to sample a bunch of cheese, and then learn which cheeses pair best with which mead. You can then take that info and impress your friends with knowledge about fancy drinks and fancy cheese.
You’ll need to register for this class ($20 owners/$25 non-owners), which is October 19th.
