If you’ve ever dreamed of collecting your own rainwater, or of composting some of your own waste (which couldn’t really be a bad thing), the City of Urbana has you covered. For one day only, on May 6th, you’ll be able to purchase some of these fine supplies from the City at the corner of Vine and Green St. in Urbana.

Rain Barrel and Compost Bin Sale
The City of Urbana in partnership with the City of Champaign, the University of Illinois Extension, and Faith in Place will offer a ONE DAY ONLY rain barrel and compost bin sale.
Rain Barrel – $52.00 regular, $27 with Stormwater Utility rebate
Stationary Compost Bin – $47.00
Rolling Compost Bin – $50.00Each rain barrel includes a leaf and mosquito filter basket, an overflow adaptor, a spigot and an overflow hose.
