Kokomono — the new project created by U of I student Jake Julian — has released their debut single “All the Way.”
The track is an ode to gospel, jazz, and hip-hop, all of which Julian has been a fan of from a young age. The track is self-produced by Julian, with horn arrangements by New York-based trumpet player Dave Levy.
Kokomono is Julian teaming up with an 7 other members, including jazz students from the U of I. The full 8-piece band is as follows:
