Earlier this month, we mentioned how Urbana’s schools will be offering free meals to those 18 and under this coming summer, and today, the good news just keeps on coming, as Champaign’s Unit 4 School District has announced a similar program.
Though the schedule differs, breakfast and lunch will be available from at least one of Champaign’s schools from May 31st to August 12th to help students whose parents are working during the day and aid the hunger that many face when school lunches go on hiatus for the summer.
