Champaign Park District’s Youth Theatre summer program will present Fiddler on the Roof JR. at the newly restored Virginia Theatre starting Thursday, July 11 through Saturday, July 13. All shows have a 7:00 p.m. start time, with the exception of July 12, which will have both a 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. performance. Fiddler on the Roof JR. is presented as a special youth edition of one of Broadway’s great masterpieces and should prove to be a wonderful introduction to the world of musical theatre. Its celebrated score — by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick — features songs loved the world over. Fiddler on the Roof JR. is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International.
