Champaign Park District is re-opening their dog parks and some tennis courts today. Hessel, Lindsay, and Sunset Ridge courts will be open today, then Clark, Eisner, and Spalding will open as soon as the nets are up.
Of course, you need to follow the guidelines for each, including staying home if you are sick. Here’s what you need to know:
Dog Parks– Maintain 6 feet of social distance from others, and wear a mask if you are unable to maintain distance. Also, as you should always do, don’t pet other dogs without permission.
Tennis Courts– Each player should bring their own tennis balls for serving. Opponents should return balls only by using the racquet, not with your hands. Singles only, no doubles, and observe social distancing.
