Champaign Farmers Market is offering free healthy snacks for kids

A couple of weeks ago, we shared several locations where kids under 18 can find free summer meals — CU Public Health, Unit 4 schools, and District 116 schools are all offering them at various places around town. CU Public Health has now partnered with the Champaign Farmers Market to offer free healthy snacks on specific dates this summer. They will be at the market June 25th, July 7th, July 23rd, and August 8th.

The Champaign Market also offers a SNAP incentive program, and new this year, WIC and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) incentives. You can read more about that here

The Champaign Farmers Market in Parking Lot M on Neil Street between Washington and Main runs every Tuesday from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. through October 29th.
