The Champaign-Urbana Smørrebrød Project (CuSP) returns to Buvons for another Eastern Illinois Foodbank fundraiser this evening.
From 4-8 p.m. tonight, they will serve Danish open-face sandwiches called “smørrebrød” on housemade, hearty buttered rye bread garnished with various toppings: interesting meats, veggies, cheeses, and spreads. They “source [their] produce and groceries as locally as [they] can, except the imported Danish butter.”
Corkscrew and Buvons are located at 203 N. Vine in Urbana.
