According to a new article from Business Insider, based on U.S. Census data, Champaign was the fastest growing city in Illinois between July 2015 and July 2016.
You should take this with a (rather large) grain of salt, however, because the study only counts towns with a population over 50,000. Regardless, this is an accomplishment for our miro-urban midwest paradise.
