This year marks the 10th annual C-U Bike to Work Day. It will be held on Friday, May 3rd from 7-10 a.m. (Note: this is a change from the previously scheduled day, May 1st, due to weather). A record 14 welcome stations will be set up across the Champaign, Urbana, the University of Illinois campus, Savoy, St. Joseph, and Mahomet for cyclists to stop and grab a free breakfast snack, t-shirt, and bike-related information:

You can register for Bike to Work Day here, and find out more information through the Facebook event. Bike to Work Day happens every May as part of C-U Bike Month, and is organized by Champaign County Bikes, the Champaign County Regional Planning Commission, Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, City of Champaign, City of Urbana, and Village of Savoy, with several local organizations, clubs, and businesses supporting the effort as well.
