Illinois History and Lincoln Collections, located in the Main Library, is hosting a little celebration for Abraham Lincoln on his birthday, February 12th. From 3-5 p.m. you can stop by the library for some refreshments, an opportunity to check out their exhibit “Here I Have Lived: Recreating the Land of Lincoln,” as well as other collections, and even create a Lincoln themed valentine.
Might be a cool little educational experience to bring the kids to after school.
The celebration is free and open to the public.
