The Land Connection and several other organizations around Illinois are working with Buy Fresh Buy Local Illinois, a website that connects farms, farmers markets, local food retailers, and more to those looking to support those endeavors.
The site is in beta test mode now, but registration is open for direct market farms and food businesses to be listed for free in the online directory and print guide. Who can be in the guide?

- Local Food Cooperatives & Grocers
- Artisan Food Producers that use local ingredients
- Wineries, Breweries, and Beverage Producers that grow or source local ingredients.
Consumers can use the directory to look up where to find local food products in their area.
