While the North Race Street Bridge was opened to local traffic on September 3, North Race Street will remain closed to through traffic as construction proceeds on the next phase of the street reconstruction project. The next phase of the street reconstruction project includes North Race Street between University Avenue and Silvercreek Restaurant (402 North Race Street). Access will still be available to Silvercreek Restaurant over the new North Race Street bridge from Main Street. Pavement work on the next section of North Race Street is expected to be completed by Friday October 18, 2013.
