Black Dog hosts FEW Spirits tasting and pairing

Black Dog Smoke & Ale House will host a tasting of FEW Spirits gin and whiskey paired with small plates on Thursday, November 29 at 10:30 p.m. Josh Boyd, formerly the chef of Carmon’s Bistro, designed the menu for the tasting. The cost is $55.00 per person and does not include tax or gratuity. 

According to the event page, “Brooke Saucier, the brand manager and distiller from Evanston, IL’s FEW Spirits, will be here to guide us through a tasting of their Bourbon, Rye, American Gin, London Gin & their Barrel aged Gin.”

FEW Standard Issue Gin, paired with…
Hot Smoked Trout with pickled fennel, boiled potato & tarragon mustard sauce.

Chicken Liver Terrine, argula, buttermilk biscuit pear & vanilla

FEW Rye Whiskey, paired with…
Pork Rillettes, smoked apple butter, pickled orange rind & coriander crackers

FEW Bourbon Whiskey, paired with…
Glazed & Smoked Beef Cheeks, braised saurkraut, pickled chiles & Sweet potato hash
