Patio season is much more enjoyable in the fall weather than in hot summer temps, and Baxter’s has a large patio with a great drink menu. I love Baxter’s Sweet Caroline martini ($7) which is made with fresh muddled raspberries and lemons with vodka, peach schnapps, lemongrass Monin, lemonade, and a splash of Sprite.
There are lots of martinis and cocktails on the drink menu in addition to after dinner drinks like a banana split cocktail and a s’mores martini. The food is good, too, and if you’re eating, make room for the gooey butter cake dessert ($6). It is my favorite dessert on Baxter’s menu.

Parking is free in the lot in front of the restaurant, and there are many tables outside on the patio to enjoy this wonderful fall weather.
