The French playwright, Paul Claudel, once said, “…in the little moment that remains to us between the crisis and the catastrophe, we may as well drink a glass of Champagne.”
Tonight, bacaro restaurant in downtown Champaign will help us out with Claudel’s endeavor by hosting Katie Parker from Henriot Champagne. According to their Facebook page, “She will be pouring two of her champagnes and William Fevre ‘Champs Royaux’ Chabis 2011. We will be pairing the wines with oysters and other little bits.” The cost for the pairings is $20.
