Asian Supermarket, located at 1215 N Prospect Ave, Champaign, open 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. weekdays and until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, has some great food options for those interested in traditional Asian cuisine or for those looking to eat outside of the box.
Included in their market is the shelf of these fermented eggs, often called the 1,000 year egg (below). Aside from the eggs, they also have some other interesting foods that I can’t wait to try. Check them out below. Plus, there is a liquor store connected to the shop, in case you need some liquid courage.
